Alasdair is a partner in our litigation team, practising primarily in intellectual property and defamation. He also has experience in more general commercial litigation, including consumer law, equity, contracts and corporations.

Alasdair has represented companies and individuals in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court, the Copyright Tribunal of Australia, and a number of Australian state courts, including on appeals to the Full Federal Court and NSW Court of Appeal. He has also acted in copyright rate setting litigation in the Copyright Tribunal of Australia and in private arbitration. He has been admitted to practice in Fiji, where he has appeared in the appellate division of the Fiji High Court.

Alasdair has been recognised as a leading practitioner in legal rankings including Doyles Guide, Legal 500, Managing IP and World Trademark Review. He is also a member of the Management Committee of the Copyright Society of Australia.
