Lucinda has 15+ years of employment law advisory and litigation experience gained from working in top-tier and boutique employment law firms. She enjoys providing strategic commercially focused advice on a broad range of employee issues to assist employers with navigating complex legal compliance requirements. This involves advising on performance, bullying and harassment, discrimination, investigations, restructures, termination of employment, award compliance and underpayment issues. She is known for her strong technical drafting expertise when preparing employment agreements, contractor agreements and policies and her appreciation of the myriad of interrelated challenges for clients when handling sensitive employee issues.
Her significant litigation and advocacy experience includes representing employers in matters including unfair dismissal, general protections and discrimination in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia. She has also assisted employers with underpayment issues involving their self-reporting to the Fair Work Ombudsman and responding to Fair Work Ombudsman investigations.
Lucinda has experience working with clients across a broad range of sectors including mid and large sized employers in professional services, community and disability services, not-for-profits, statutory authorities, media, arts and education.
